About Wakulima Commercial Sacco

Formerly known as Wakulima Dairy Sacco Limited, Wakulima Commercial Sacco was officially registered on September 24, 2003, under the Ministry of Co-operative Development and Marketing. Initially established to support dairy farmers in Mukurwe-ini, the Sacco has since expanded its services to cater to a broader membership base.

Today, it boasts:

  • Over 15,000 active members
  • An asset base of Kshs 840 million
  • A commitment to becoming the leading financial institution in the region

Membership Eligibility

Wakulima Commercial Sacco primarily serves:

  • Dairy farmers
  • Coffee farmers
  • Salaried individuals
  • Entrepreneurs and professionals from other economic sectors

Membership Requirements

To join, applicants must provide:

  1. A completed membership application form (available on the Sacco’s website).
  2. A copy of a valid ID (National ID/Passport).
  3. Two passport-sized photographs.
  4. KRA PIN certificate copy.
  5. Kshs 200 account activation fee.
  6. Kshs 200 shares registration fee.
  7. Purchase of at least 50 nominal shares (Kshs 100 per share).
  8. An active savings account.
  9. One referee (an existing member).
