Membership Eligibility & Requirements
Who Can Join?
Membership is open to:
- All Kenyan citizens
- Registered organizations and businesses
Individual Membership Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Provide:
- Original National ID or Kenyan passport
- Passport-sized photograph (taken during registration)
- Complete the membership application form
- Pay a one-time registration fee of KSh 300
- Build share capital to KSh 5,000 for full membership
Corporate Membership Requirements
- Certificate of registration
- Certificate of incorporation (for limited companies)
- KRA PIN certificate
- Tax compliance certificate
- Directors’ IDs and passport photos
- Board resolution approving Sacco membership
