Wakenya Pamoja Sacco Membership Guide
A Legacy of Financial Empowerment
Established in 1976 as the banking division of Kisii Farmers Cooperative Union, Wakenya Pamoja Sacco gained independence in 1992 as Gusii Farmers Rural Sacco Society Limited. Through strategic reforms and rebranding, the society has evolved into a dynamic financial institution serving diverse sectors beyond its original tea and coffee farming base.
Licensed as a deposit-taking Sacco in April 2011 under the Sacco Societies Act, it now offers comprehensive financial solutions including microfinance, business development loans, and asset financing.
