Infinix Note 60 Series: Satellite Calling, HydroFlow Cooling, and AI ModuVerse Unveiled at CES 2026

At CES 2026, Infinix unveiled its latest flagship, the Note 60 series, setting the stage for a new era in mobile connectivity. Among the standout features, satellite calling takes center stage, a feature that promises to bring reliable connectivity to remote areas—not just as an emergency function but as a regular mobile service.

Satellite Calling That Actually Works

Unlike the limited satellite services available on current smartphones that are restricted to certain regions like North America or China, Infinix’s satellite calling feature works globally, covering nearly two-thirds of the Earth’s surface. The system automatically switches between traditional cell towers and satellites based on availability, providing seamless connectivity for HD voice calls and two-way text messages at 4Kbps transmission speeds.

While streaming might not be feasible at this speed, Infinix assures users that it’s more than adequate for voice and messaging, especially when using Bluetooth headsets or the speakerphone mode outdoors. This innovation marks a significant step forward in making satellite connectivity a part of everyday mobile usage, particularly for users in remote locations.

Infinix Active Visual Backplate Technologies

Innovative Cooling with HydroFlow

To address the heat challenges that come with heavy usage like gaming or AI processing, Infinix introduces HydroFlow liquid cooling, which uses dual piezoelectric ceramic pumps to push coolant through the phone at twice the speed of conventional active cooling systems. This system is designed to manage extended gaming sessions and heavy tasks without the phone overheating.

Additionally, the phone includes a piezoelectric fan with a vibrating sheet instead of traditional rotating blades. This ultra-thin design generates high-pressure airflow that efficiently dissipates heat ten times more effectively and quietly, since there are no moving parts.

A New Gaming Experience

The Infinix Note 60 also targets mobile gamers with its split controller and pressure-sensitive touchpad. The system includes wireless magnetic triggers with micro-switches to bring console-like controls to mobile gaming, enhancing the experience for those looking for more precise control and a better gameplay feel.

A Visual and Functional Upgrade

The Note 60 also boasts an innovative back panel that uses photochromic leather and thermochromic ink, which change color based on light and temperature. This is paired with optical microstructures that create dynamic color shifts, animations, and 3D effects depending on the viewing angle. Best of all, this visual trickery doesn’t drain the battery, as it works by manipulating light rather than relying on power-hungry screens.

AI ModuVerse: A Magnetic Accessory System

Infinix pushes the boundaries of modularity with AI ModuVerse, a magnetic accessory system that attaches seamlessly to the phone. The modules cater to various use cases, including:

  • Professional microphone with noise reduction
  • Sports camera with anti-shake
  • Meeting module for translation and note-taking
  • Expandable battery pack
  • Vlog camera with AI subject tracking and gesture controls

This system aims to turn the Note 60 into a multi-functional device, allowing users to personalize it for specific tasks rather than buying separate gadgets.

Conclusion

With its combination of satellite calling, innovative cooling, AI-driven accessories, and stunning visual effects, Infinix is stepping up the game with the Note 60 series. Although the company hasn’t yet announced pricing or release dates, it’s clear that Infinix is aiming to differentiate itself with features that go beyond incremental upgrades, offering unique value for users in both everyday and specialized scenarios.
