Infinix Note 60 Pro Launches in Kenya

The Infinix Note 60 Pro has officially launched in Kenya, bringing a mix of performance, display innovation, and battery upgrades at a competitive mid-range price.

This release positions Infinix more aggressively in the premium mid-range segment, where performance and long-term value are becoming key selling points for Kenyan consumers.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Performance Gets a Major Boost

The Infinix Note 60 Pro is the first device from the brand to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. This marks a significant shift from previous models that relied on MediaTek processors.

According to Infinix, the chip delivers 75 percent faster CPU performance and up to 210 percent better GPU rendering compared to the Note 50 Pro. The company also says its custom performance engine improves multitasking by 25 percent.

Gaming remains a clear focus. The phone is optimized for Call of Duty Mobile and features a 3D IceCore vapor chamber cooling system. This setup helps keep temperatures up to 3 degrees Celsius lower during extended gaming sessions.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Display and Design Stand Out

One of the most unique features of the Infinix Note 60 Pro is the Active Matrix Display on the back. This hidden LED panel lights up to show notifications, animations, and alerts without turning on the main screen.

On the front, the device features a 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. This ensures smooth scrolling and excellent visibility even under direct sunlight.

Durability is also improved with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the aluminum alloy frame adds a premium feel. The device carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Audio performance is handled by dual speakers tuned by JBL, offering a richer sound experience.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Camera and AI Features

The Infinix Note 60 Pro comes with a 50MP main camera featuring Optical Image Stabilisation. This helps improve low-light photography and video stability.

It also includes a 112-degree ultrawide camera for landscapes and group shots.

A key highlight is the Ultra HDR imaging pipeline, which allows the phone to capture and display HDR images more accurately. Additional features include Live Photo mode, 2x lossless portrait zoom, and 4K ultra-steady video.

Infinix has also added AI Studio, a built-in tool for editing photos directly on the device.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Battery and Charging Innovation

Battery performance is another major selling point. The Infinix Note 60 Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery designed for extended usage.

More notably, it introduces what Infinix calls a self-healing battery system. This technology aims to extend battery lifespan by up to 200 additional charge cycles, potentially offering up to six years of reliable use.

Charging options include 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. The device also comes with a MegaCharge case to improve wireless charging alignment.

Software, Health Features, and Extras

The phone runs on XOS 16 and comes with three major Android updates and five years of security patches.

A customizable One-Tap button allows quick access to features like silent mode or flashlight.

The device also includes health monitoring tools, tracking heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and heart rate variability over time.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Price in Kenya

The Infinix Note 60 Pro is now available in Kenya in Solar Orange, Deep Ocean Blue, and Frost Silver.

It comes in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced at KES 41,999.

Buyers also receive launch offers, including a free XWATCH 3GT, a trade-in voucher via Carlcare, and a discount on installment payments through Onfon.

Why This Matters

The Infinix Note 60 Pro shows how fast mid-range smartphones are evolving. Features like wireless charging, advanced cooling, and long-term battery health were once reserved for flagship devices.

This shift gives Kenyan consumers more value without needing to spend premium prices.

What Happens Next

The success of the Infinix Note 60 Pro will depend on real-world performance and how well its battery claims hold up over time.

If the self-healing battery delivers as promised, it could set a new standard for durability in the mid-range market.
