Why Use Voice Biometrics? The Advantages

Voiceprint authentication offers several benefits:

  • Faster identification, reducing time spent on security checks especially during customer care calls
  • Reduced risk of fraud, identity theft, or impersonation, since voiceprints are unique and difficult to mimic
  • Convenient and hands-free access to essential services without remembering multiple passwords or personal information

Expert Tips

  • Ensure your environment is quiet when enrolling or updating your voice to guarantee a clear recording.
  • Choose language during enrollment carefully voiceprints are language-specific and cannot be recorded in both English and Kiswahili
  • If your voice password fails multiple times, re-enroll or delete and enroll again.
  • Regularly check your Jitambulishe status to confirm it remains active, especially after changing lines.
  • Refrain from sharing your passphrase with anyone, even suspicious callers claiming to be Safaricom agents.
