Located along the Mombasa–Malindi Road in Majengo, Haller Park was established in 1971 after the rehabilitation of Bamburi Cement’s abandoned quarries. Through years of restoration, the area has blossomed into a thriving ecosystem featuring forests, lakes, grasslands and wildlife species.

Managed by Lafarge Eco Systems, the environmental arm of Bamburi Cement Limited, Haller Park hosts hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, buffalo, oryx, elands, Aldabra tortoises, fish and hundreds of bird species. The site also features the popular Butterfly Pavilion, launched in 1998 to restore butterfly biodiversity lost through earlier mining activities. The park welcomes guests daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the last admission at 4:30 pm.
