About Suluhu Sacco
Suluhu Sacco, originally registered in 1995 as Mwingi Mwalimu Sacco Society under the Ministry of Co-operative Development and Marketing, has grown into one of Kenya’s leading deposit-taking Saccos. Regulated by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) under the Sacco Societies Act 2008, it boasts an asset base of Kshs 1.04 billion, offering secure and competitive financial solutions.
The Sacco’s mission is to mobilize resources efficiently and provide affordable, high-quality financial products to maximize member benefits through prudent management.
Who Can Join Suluhu Sacco?
Membership is open to:
- Primary and secondary school teachers
- Teachers Service Commission (TSC) staff
- Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) employees
- BBF staff

Membership Requirements
To become a member, applicants must:
- Complete a membership application form.
- Provide a copy of their National ID.
- Fill a nomination form (to designate a next of kin).
Once registered, members can save through:
- Check-off system (direct salary deductions)
- Over-the-counter cash deposits
- Bank standing orders
