Application Process
- Collection of Forms: Application forms can be obtained from the Human Resources Directorate (HRD) or any Regional Education Directorate. They can also be downloaded from the official link: Application Form.
- Completion of Form: Ensure all sections of the application form are filled out completely. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
- Submission: Submit the completed form to the Director HRD at Kanifing Education Complex before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Signature Requirement: The signature section of the application must be completed. Applicants from subverted institutions must have the form signed by the principal or the education secretariat, as applicable.

Required Documents
To complete the application process, the following documents are required:
- Proof of child birth from the hospital (if applicable).
- Valid identification documents.
- Any additional documents as specified by the MoBSE guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- All applications must be submitted using the MoBSE prescribed application form. The Training Committee (TC) is not obligated to consider any applications that do not adhere to this format.
- Applicants must be qualified teachers with at least:
- 3 years of teaching experience for HTC holders.
- 5 years of teaching experience for PTC holders.
- Applicants must have an unconditional acceptance or offer from the University of The Gambia (UTG). Those with prior admissions must submit a deferment before applying.
- Applicants must be admitted to the School of Education at UTG on a full-time basis. Part-time students are not eligible.
- The applicants must have 2 relevant subjects, one as a major and the other as a minor.
- Applicants must be confirmed in their position at MoBSE and ready to sign the requisite bonds for study leave with salary.

Validity
The certificate/document issued through this procedure remains valid indefinitely unless otherwise specified by the Ministry.
