Infinix is preparing to launch its highly anticipated Note 60 series smartphones, which have recently received certification in Indonesia, bringing the devices one step closer to a global launch. Three models have been approved on the Indonesian SDPPI certification platform: the Note 60 (model X6879), Note 60 Edge (model X6887), and Note 60 Pro (model X6878). While the certification doesn’t provide full details about the specifications, it indicates that these phones are on track for release in international markets.
Infinix Note 60 Pro: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Processor and Key Details
The Note 60 Pro has already surfaced on Geekbench, revealing some important specifications. The benchmark test shows the device running Android 16 with 8GB of RAM. The phone scored 1,243 points in the single-core test and 3,369 points in the multi-core test, offering a solid performance benchmark. The processor configuration includes performance cores clocked at 2.71GHz, three cores at 2.40GHz, and two cores at 1.80GHz, which matches the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset announced in August 2024.
This makes the Note 60 Pro the first Infinix device to feature a Snapdragon processor, marking a significant shift from the company’s usual reliance on MediaTek chips. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset also powers the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in China, making the Note 60 Pro one of the first phones outside of China to use this new processor.
What to Expect from the Infinix Note 60 Series
The Note 60 series is set to replace the previous Note 50 lineup, with the Note 50S 5G being the most recent release. The Note 50S 5G featured a 6.67-inch AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. The Note 60 series will likely build upon these features, with the Note 60 Pro showcasing its Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and Android 16 for improved performance and user experience.
