Overview:
Greensteds International School, located along the Nakuru–Nairobi Highway, just 16 km from Nakuru town, is one of Kenya’s most respected international institutions. Established in 1936 as a junior school, it has grown into a fully-fledged learning institution offering the British National Curriculum from Playgroup to Year 13.
The school is organized into four main sections:
- Early Years: Crèche, Nursery, and Reception (ages 2–5)
- Junior School: Years 1–6
- Senior School: Years 7–11
- Sixth Form: Years 12–13
Greensteds offers both day and full boarding options from Year 1 onwards. A daily transport service is also available for students residing near the school.
Greensteds runs on a three-term academic calendar:

- Term 3: April – July
