1. Category B1 & B2 – Light Vehicles (Manual/Automatic)

Ideal for new drivers who want to operate small private vehicles.

    • Must be 18 years or older
  • Duration: 3–5 weeks
  • Fees:
    • Training: Kshs 10,000
    • NTSA Charges: Kshs 2,850

2. Category B3 – Professional Driver (Saloon Car – Manual/Automatic)

Suitable for individuals who want to drive professionally using a private vehicle for hire or reward.

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Valid B2 driving license
    • At least 2 years of driving experience
    • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Duration: 3–5 weeks
  • Fees:
    • Training: Kshs 10,000
    • NTSA Charges: Kshs 2,850

3. Category C1 – Light Truck (Professional)

Prepares drivers to operate small trucks for commercial purposes.

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Valid B2 license
    • 2 years driving experience
    • Minimum age: 22 years

    • Training: Kshs 10,000

4. Category C – Medium Truck (Professional)

Targets drivers intending to operate medium-sized trucks in logistics and delivery services.

    • Valid C1 license

5. Category D1 – Van (Professional)
