Procedure to Apply for a VAT Certificate

  1. Visit the Relevant Authority – Go to the Ministry of Finance office in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
  2. Submit the Required Documents – Ensure all documents are complete and valid.
  3. Pay the Applicable Fees – Make payment using an e-dirham card.
  4. Receive Confirmation – Once approved, you will receive your VAT certificate within the stated processing time.

  • Request Letter from the Company – Official letter requesting VAT certificate issuance.
  • Valid Trade License – Copy of your active trade license.
  • Proof of Payment – Receipt or confirmation of fee payment.

Eligibility

Businesses and organizations operating in the UAE that are registered for VAT and meet compliance requirements are eligible to apply for a VAT certificate.

The fee for obtaining a VAT certificate is AED 500, payable exclusively via e-dirham Card.
