Infinix is gearing up to unveil the Infinix Note Edge, a mid-range smartphone designed with a focus on long-lasting battery life rather than the industry’s obsession with ultra-slim designs.
The upcoming device is said to feature an impressive 6,500mAh battery, significantly larger than what is typically seen in mid-range smartphones, ensuring multiple days of usage without needing to recharge.
Tech reviewer Paras Guglani recently shared insights via an X post, revealing that the Infinix Note Edge will be powered by the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, a cutting-edge 5G processor built on a 6nm architecture. This chip is designed for optimal thermal efficiency, allowing the large battery to operate without any overheating issues.
One of the phone’s key highlights is its 1.5K resolution 3D curved AMOLED display. This provides a higher pixel density compared to the standard 1080p screens often seen in phones within this price range, delivering vibrant visuals.
Infinix is also stepping up its software game with the Note Edge, offering a generous commitment of 3 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches, setting a new standard for the brand. The phone will launch with Android 16.
The design boasts a sleek Forest Green finish, complemented by a horizontal camera module that includes dual sensors, an LED flash, and a filler light to improve low-light video performance. The curved display adds a premium feel to the phone’s overall aesthetic.
Already spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification site, the Infinix Note Edge is expected to be launched globally in January 2026. It will likely debut alongside the Infinix Note 60 and Infinix Note 60 Pro. While the Pro variant will target performance with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, the Note Edge is set to appeal to users who prioritize battery life and design, offering a practical alternative to performance-driven devices.
