How to Get a Private Pilot License (PPL) in Kenya: Complete Requirements and Application Process

A Private Pilot License (PPL) allows individuals to fly aircraft for non-commercial purposes. While PPL holders can carry passengers, they are not permitted to receive payment for their services. In Kenya, this license is issued and regulated by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA)—the body responsible for maintaining aviation safety, regulating personnel licensing, and overseeing air navigation services.
