The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) remains one of Nairobi’s most iconic landmarks. Located along Harambee Avenue in Nairobi’s City Square, this 28-storey skyscraper stands at 105 metres and ranks among Kenya’s tallest buildings. Its helipad—often referred to as the rooftop or viewing deck—is a must-visit for those seeking stunning 360-degree views of the capital.

Here’s the current pricing structure for accessing the rooftop:

For Kenyan Citizens & East African Nationals

  • Adults: Ksh 200
  • Secondary School Students: Ksh 100
  • Primary School Children & Below: Ksh 50

For Residents (Non-Citizens with Valid Permits)

  • Adults: Ksh 300
  • Children: Ksh 100

For Non-Residents (Foreign Visitors)

  • Adults: Ksh 500
  • Children: Ksh 200

International Students (with valid ID):

  • All Ages: Ksh 300

Professional Photography & Videography Charges

  • Photoshoot: Ksh 7,500
  • Video Shoot: Ksh 15,000

Note: All visitors must present a valid national ID, passport, or student identification when entering.

The KICC rooftop is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including weekends and public holidays. The best time to visit is either in the early morning or late afternoon to catch the golden light and avoid the midday heat.
