Emirates Tops the Global Airline List

Dubai-based Emirates reclaimed its position as the world’s best international airline, impressing reviewers with unmatched inflight luxury and hospitality. Its First Class aboard the Boeing 777-300ER features fully enclosed private suites, floor-to-ceiling doors, personal minibars, and even video calling with the cabin crew.

Travelers enjoy Bulgari amenity kits and gourmet menus designed by top international chefs. The airline also earned global praise for its autism-friendly certification, with over 30,000 staff trained to support travelers with sensory sensitivities. This inclusive initiative distinguished Emirates as a leader in compassionate aviation.

Delta Air Lines Wins Best U.S. Airline

In the United States, Delta Air Lines took home the title of Best U.S. Airline for the second consecutive year. The Atlanta-based carrier received five awards in total, recognizing its consistent improvements in passenger comfort and operations.

Delta’s new First Class seats on the Airbus A321neo boast memory foam cushioning, expanded legroom, and personalized lighting. Passengers also enjoy upgraded dining with brands like Shake Shack and Taittinger Champagne. Inflight Wi-Fi is now free across most routes, and the airline continues to modernize its lounges to enhance the pre-flight experience.

Changi Airport Remains the World’s Best

Singapore’s Changi Airport once again earned the title of World’s Best Airport. More than a transport hub, Changi is a destination featuring the Jewel complex with the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, surrounded by lush gardens and walking trails.

Travelers can enjoy butterfly gardens, a rooftop swimming pool, art galleries, and even a 24-hour cinema, making layovers feel like a holiday. Forbes reviewers commended Changi’s perfect blend of efficiency, beauty, and relaxation.

Luxury Cabins: Emirates and Qatar Airways Lead the Way

The Forbes awards also spotlighted Qatar Airways for offering the Best International Business Class with its revolutionary Qsuites. Each private suite includes sliding doors, plush bedding, and customizable seating for families or groups.

Meanwhile, Emirates received top marks for Best International First Class, where travelers enjoy caviar service, Mercedes-Benz-inspired cabin design, and unparalleled privacy—setting the global standard for premium air travel.

Airports and Lounges Redefining Travel

Among airports, New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) earned the title of Best U.S. Airport following its remarkable $8-billion renovation. Once notorious for congestion, it now offers open spaces, natural light, and local dining favorites such as H&H Bagels and Junior’s Cheesecake.

In Qatar, Hamad International Airport (DOH) won acclaim for the Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno, named Best Independent Airport Lounge. Combining fine dining and elegant design, it showcases Qatar’s growing prominence in global aviation luxury.

Airline-operated lounges were also honored, including the Emirates First Class Lounge in Dubai and the Delta One Lounge at JFK, both praised for their gourmet cuisine, spa-style amenities, and tranquil design.

Other Notable Winners

Air France received the award for Best Inflight Culinary Collaboration, partnering with Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud to craft refined seasonal menus. Air New Zealand took the Innovation of the Year prize for its Skycouch, which converts economy seats into a full sleeping surface—offering affordable comfort on long-haul routes.

Final Word

The Forbes Travel Guide 2025 results confirm that Emirates, Delta, and Singapore Changi Airport continue to define excellence in global travel. Through elegant design, advanced technology, and genuine hospitality, they remind the world that the art of flying lies in every thoughtful detail.
