1. Shimba Hills National Reserve

Situated about 33 km south of Mombasa, this protected area is renowned for its dense forests, diverse wildlife, and scenic views. The reserve hosts a large population of elephants and is the only place in Kenya where you can spot the rare sable antelope. Other residents include giraffes, leopards, vervet and Sykes monkeys, and various birds and reptiles. Highlights include Sheldrick Falls and the Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, making it ideal for game drives, nature walks, and camping.


2. Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park

Located 11 km off the coast of Shimoni, this marine park protects coral reefs and marine life along the Kenyan coastline. 7. Colobus Conservation Centre

Located in Diani, this primate rescue and rehabilitation centre focuses on the endangered colobus monkeys. It offers eco-tours that educate visitors about primate conservation. Open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. Entry is Ksh 250 for Kenyan citizens and Ksh 750 for non-residents.


8. Diani Beach Art Gallery

9. Jungle Snake Park
