Adèle Exarchopoulos, born on November 22, 1993, in Paris, France, is a celebrated French actress whose career has captivated both domestic and international audiences. Raised in the culturally rich 19th arrondissement near Place des Fêtes, Adèle’s early exposure to the arts sparked her passion for acting. She enrolled in acting classes at the age of nine to overcome her shyness and quickly found her calling in the world of performance.

From a young age, Adèle exhibited a natural talent for acting, which led to her breakthrough role in Blue Is the Warmest Colour (2013), a film that not only brought her international acclaim but also firmly established her as one of the most compelling voices in French cinema. Her portrayal of a young woman’s journey through love and self-discovery was celebrated for its emotional depth and raw intensity, earning her the prestigious Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013, alongside co-star Léa Seydoux and director Abdellatif Kechiche.

After her success in Blue Is the Warmest Colour, she expanded her range with a series of international roles, including The Last Face (2016) alongside Sean Penn, Charlize Theron, and Javier Bardem. In a surprising yet delightful turn, she voiced Ennui, the apathetic emotion, in Pixar’s Inside Out 2 (2024), marking her debut in Hollywood animation.
