Brookhouse International School remains one of Kenya’s most prestigious and high-performing international institutions. Established in 1981, the school offers a world-class education based on the British National Curriculum and caters to students aged 2 to 19 across two campuses: Karen and Runda.

The Karen campus is located along Magadi Road, next to Nairobi National Park, offering a tranquil learning environment just 15 minutes from the city centre. The Runda campus, situated in the heart of Nairobi’s diplomatic zone, mirrors the same academic excellence and facilities.

Brookhouse is home to a culturally diverse community of more than 750 students representing over 45 nationalities. In 2017, the school became the first in East Africa to join the prestigious G-30 group of global leading schools.

Fees are billed three times per academic year.

Boarding is not available for pre-school and early year classes.


Additional Fees

  • Registration Fee (non-refundable): Ksh 45,000 (one-time)
  • Caution Deposit for Day Students: Ksh 100,000 (refundable)
  • Caution Deposit for Boarding Students: Ksh 200,000 (refundable)
  • Caution Deposit for IFY Students: Ksh 100,000 (refundable only if transitioning to an NCUK university)
  • Books and basic stationery are included in tuition fees

Fee payments are due at the beginning of each term, on the following dates:
26th August 2024, 3rd January 2025, and 21st April 2025.
