Isa Briones, born Isabella Camille Briones on January 17, 1999, in London, England, is an accomplished English-born American actress and singer. She is the daughter of Filipino-American actor Jon Jon Briones and American actress and singer Megan Johnson Briones, both prominent figures in the world of musical theater. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the arts, Isa grew up with a unique cultural blend of Swedish, Irish, and Filipino heritage, which influenced her path in entertainment.
The Briones family relocated from London to New York City when Isa was just ten months old, marking the beginning of her immersion into the performing arts. By the age of three, Isa began her career as a child model, and by seven, the family had moved to Los Angeles, where Isa transitioned to acting.
Siblings
Isa has one sibling, her younger brother Teo Briones, born in Oxford, England. Like Isa, Teo’s early years were shaped by his parents’ involvement in theatrical productions. Teo began modeling and acting at the age of five and has become a rising star, particularly in the horror genre with roles in Chucky, Ratched, and the upcoming Final Destination: Bloodlines.
Career
Isa’s career began in 2008, shortly after the family’s move to Los Angeles, with roles in both feature films and stage productions. She made a significant mark in musical theater, portraying Perón’s mistress in Evita and Natalie in Next to Normal—roles that highlighted her powerful vocal abilities and emotional depth.
In 2018, Isa’s star shone brighter when she joined the first national touring company of Hamilton, portraying both Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds. At just 19, she became the youngest actor to take on these dual lead roles, earning praise for her exceptional talent.
Transitioning to screen work, Isa gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of the synthetic twins Dahj and Soji Asha in the critically acclaimed series Star Trek: Picard (2020–2022), where she played the “daughters” of the iconic android Data. Her performance culminated in a poignant rendition of Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies”, which was released as a single, further showcasing her vocal range.
Briones continued her career with a lead role in the Disney+ horror series Goosebumps (2023), adapting R.L. Stine’s beloved books for modern audiences. She also made her Broadway debut in Hadestown in 2024, portraying Eurydice and sharing the stage with her father, Jon Jon Briones, who played Hermes. Her versatility also extended to her appearance in The Pitt on HBO Max, where she played Dr. Santos.
In 2025, Isa starred in the off-Broadway production All Nighter, alongside AnnaSophia Robb, continuing to demonstrate her range across various genres.

Isa Briones’ acting and singing talents have earned her several accolades, including three nominations for the LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards in 2018.
