Apply In-Person
- Visit the Capital Markets Authority Office
- Begin by visiting the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) head office. You will need to obtain the application form for the Investment Advisor’s License.
- Complete the Application Form
- Fill out the application form accurately. Be sure to provide all necessary information as incomplete forms will not be accepted.
- Attach the Required Documents
- Gather and attach the following documents to your application:
- Certified copy of Articles and Memorandum of Association
- Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation
- Organizational structure
- CVs of Board of Directors and Senior Management
- Copies of identification (passport, national ID, etc.)
- Business plan and audited financial statements
- Performance Bond as required by CMA
- Gather and attach the following documents to your application:
- Pay the Application Fee
- Pay the prescribed application fee of UGX 500,000 to the designated bank as instructed by the CMA. Keep the payment receipt as proof.
