Overview:

The International School of Kenya (ISK), located in the serene Runda suburb of Nairobi, is one of the most prestigious private schools in East Africa. Established in 1976, ISK offers a robust North American curriculum and caters to over 950 students from more than 65 nationalities.

With a strong emphasis on academic excellence, creativity, and diversity, the school is organized into three divisions:

  • Elementary School: Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 (ages 4–10)
  • Middle School: Grades 6 to 8 (ages 11–14)
  • High School: Grades 9 to 12 (ages 15–18)

ISK’s academic year begins in early August and ends in early June, with two semesters — the first ending in December, and the second starting in January.
